My poppy is a bit dirty. Do you have clues to wash SLS parts instead of “Dremel” ?
Hi @Thot, I have no tip to share, but may be @Matthieu has.
However, I’d like to see what you mean by “a bit dirty”. Do you mind sharing some pictures?
Hi,
I up the topic.
@Thot, did you find a solution to clean the 3D pieces ? I’m interested in doing it because most pieces turn gray with time.
In the following picture, you can see the difference between a used head (right) and a new head (left).
I’m not expecting to clean it to become as the left one, but some 3D parts have black spot. Is there a miracle solution ?
Unfortunately no, I did not find a solution except painting but you have to take Poppy to piece…
It is the mark of working robots
I think that they turn grey not because of the dirt but because of the sun (UV). All our prints from Sculteo are changing color with time… I think this is very specific to SLS print plastics.
ok thanks guys, it confirms what I thought ! I will just (try to) clean the black spots that I guess it’s dirt (i.e. knees)
The DREMEL works very well also.
