The 6th edition of fOSSa will stand in Rennes, France, on 19, 20 and 21 November 2014.
After a great 2013 edition with loads of innovative topics (open source journalism, open source vehicle, etc.), fOSSa conference is back with a bunch of exciting hot topics: Transitions underway and role of openness in the emergence of new ecosystems.
Since its early editions fOSSa conference essentially addressed the open source software & its models. The latests editions had broaden the spectrum addressing open technologies, ecosystems & associated
changes in economic, social, political scientific & technical fields. fOSSa 2014 will investigate open models that are currently investing, reinvesting or will soon invest all conceivable areas in software, science or even currency domains!
fOSSa 2014 is organized by Inria and Fing and supported by several partners (FabLab of Rennes and La Cantine de Rennes) with a particular investment of the Inria research center of Rennes. Our media partners are Linuxmag and Programmez.com.
