Poppy Torso Sound Problem

#1

On the log i can read
"Playing WAVE ‘/home/poppy/.pyenv/versions/2.7.11/lib/python2.7/site-packages/poppy_torso/media/sounds/error.wav’ : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 44100 Hz, Stereoe

The Poppy i’ve got is now equiped with Odroid XU4.
Unfortunately, the Odroid XU4 does not have audio output.
So the message should’not appear !

The documentation
If you want to use the audio, you will have to use a USB dongle and connect the audio jack to it.
Can you give me a link for the product and explanation to install it one the robot.

Hi Luc,

Have you ordered you poppy robot at Generation Robots ?
If so, you must have received an “electronic kit”. There is in this 2 speakers (left and right), some cables, a UBEC and some other components. This kit gives you sound and supplies the Odroid card using the SMPS power supply.

You can find the instruction there :

I think it might be a mistake. I contact you in private so that you have an USB dongle.
