Ok, students, well done... You've just taught me something ;)

I asked my students to get their Ergo back in a pre-recorded position (“maposition” is a 6-item list).

I was expecting this :

or maybe this :

But look what they did !

(and “of course” it works…)

Once again, they reminded me how much we (teachers) easily get stuck in some routines…
The more we know, the less we dare.
Hopefully some students are here to give us some fresh ideas !

Without wanting to reduce their creativity, they are maybe good readers (and this is a great quality) !
This way to record a position is shown at the end of the demo project gave with the robot ;).

Hmm I’m quite sure they didn’t read it…
Speaking of me, I should have read it before !
But sometimes it’s a real good thing to make kids feel that they can be smarter than their teacher.
In this case, I concluded by saying :
"- you have been clever, by trying the simpliest way to achieve your goal.

  • the programmer of this snap! block has been clever (you @theo ? @pierre ?), by thinking the user could give 2 lists as arguments."
